
Visit the Friends of the Erie County Library’s Bayfront Bookshelf, located in the lobby of the Blasco Library.
The hours of operation are Monday through Saturday 11am-3pm & Sunday 1 pm – 3 pm. We are closed when Blasco Library is closed.
The Bayfront Bookshelf is a venture of the Friends of the Erie County Library. All proceeds from the shop help fund library programs.

GOOD QUALITY USED HARDBACK AND PAPERBACK BOOKS AND MORE
The Bookshelf specializes in selling used good quality hardback and paperback books, mostly best sellers and popular fiction of all types. There are sections for adults, children and teens. We
also sell used audio books, DVDs and music CDs.
The store sells Erie souvenir magnets, shot glasses, a variety of mugs, baseball caps and a big selection of small size postcards, including Brig Niagara and Presque Isle postcards and the three Erie lighthouses.
The jigsaw puzzles are a customer favorite at the store. We accept donations of gently used and
complete puzzles.

The store features seasonal jewelry selections, women’s scarves, the Erie County Public Library tote bag ($3), other tote bags, and children’s small toys.
A limited number of vintage items are sometimes available, including vinyl records (LP albums
and 45’s), vintage games and vintage children’s books.
The store also offers graphic novels and manga for adults and for teens and, when available, we
offer used comic books.
Additionally, books of local interest and history, some by local authors, may be found in the
store.
We carry 32GB Flash Drives for computers and earbuds for patrons using the computer lab. We
have a variety of office supplies, including pens, pencils, markers, notebooks, folders and
notebooks.
The shop is staffed by volunteers and is occasionally closed when volunteers are not available.
