Visit the Friends of the Erie County Library\u2019s Bayfront Bookshelf, located in the lobby of the Blasco Library.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The hours of operation are Monday through Saturday 11am-3pm & Sunday 1 pm \u2013 3 pm<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Bayfront Bookshelf is a venture of the Friends of the Erie County Library. All proceeds from the shop help fund library programs.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

CURRENT COLLECTIBLE ITEMS IN THE STORE<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

1) An assortment of Beatles hardback nonfiction and biography books all in excellent shape and individually priced from a donor\u2019s collection. Two vintage magazines featuring the Beatles and a rare 1986 Beatles documentary DVD with interviews and coverage of the Beatles first trip to America and Beatle mania!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2) \u201cHarry Potter\u201d by J. K. Rowling. A full set of First edition American hardbacks in Mint condition; 7 volumes, various printings, perfect dust jackets. Never used; they were saved by a collector and put away in a dust free, nicotine free environment for the past 20 plus years. $150.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

3) Antique child\u2019s board book, \u201cThe Littlest Angel\u201d in very good condition from 1946.  Only $15!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

4) Zane Grey, 5 novels in one hardback book, printed 1980, good condition with good dust jacket. Riders of the Purple Sage, To the Last Man, The Thundering Herd, The Hash Knife Outfit, and West of the Pecos. Only $10.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

5) \u201cInterview With The Vampire\u201d by Anne Rice, hardback First edition with excellent dust jacket and no writing inside. Excellent condition overall! $40.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

6) \u201cThe Lightening Thief\u201d by Rick Riordan, Illustrated by John Rocco, 2018, large hardback book with dust jacket, Excellent condition, it looks brand new. This is part of the Percy Jackson series updated with color illustrations. Original price was $39.99 but we are selling it for $20!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

7) We have a shelf full of vintage Science Fiction hardback and paperbacks by a variety of authors which are individually priced. We add to this collection every week. If you see something you like, you need to buy it now, because it may be gone when you return.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

GOOD QUALITY USED HARDBACK AND PAPERBACK BOOKS AND MORE<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Bookshelf specializes in selling used good quality hardback and paperback books, mostly best sellers and popular fiction of all types. There are sections for adults, children and teens. We also sell used audio books, DVDs and music CDs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The store sells Erie souvenir magnets, shot glasses, a variety of mugs, and a big selection of small size postcards, including Brig Niagara and Presque Isle postcards and the three Erie lighthouses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The jigsaw puzzles are a customer favorite at the store. We accept donations of gently used and complete puzzles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The store features seasonal jewelry selections, women\u2019s scarfs, scented candles with book themes, tote bags and children\u2019s small toys.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A limited number of vintage items are available, including vinyl records (LP albums and 45\u2019s), vintage games and vintage children\u2019s books.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The store also offers graphic novels for adults and for teens and, when available, we offer used comic books.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Additionally, books of local interest and history, some by local authors, may be found in the store.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The shop is staffed by volunteers and is occasionally closed when volunteers are not available.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It is recommended that you call the shop before you plan a visit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
