Library Programs and Special Events Sponsored by The Friends of the Library

A library is not just books! The Friends support all of the “extras” that the Erie County Library offers, from adult programs to teen programs to preschool story times.

The Friends also support special initiatives and staff development, including:

  • Minerva statue restoration
  • Minerva pedestal creation by local artist Adam Stempka
  • Annual Staff Training Day, including professional speakers and courses
